In light of the NFL change from kickoffs from the 30 yards line to kickoffs from the 35 (is that correct??), many seem to think that return yards will suffer, possibly due to the special teams getting downfield quicker for shorter kicks - and the return guys more frequently letting it bounce into the endzone for a touchback. (Do I have that right?) Will come out and say I prefer the 1 pt per 20, or possible even a bit more to make return guys a bit more valuable than an afterthought. But would like your input.

I can't say how I voted because that's not how we do it here. I will tell my reason later.

You can voice your reason here. There should be no reason not to, not like it's keeper or such. But whatever you wish. I kinda see where you might be coming from. But the picks could go either way. Whatever.

I like the idea of 1 point per 20 yards would not mind if it was 1 per 15 yards but I will go with what the majority wants.

My reason was this is my first league with return yards so it will be a learning experience for me. But I get the idea so its not a big deal. It just seems to make the real good recievers less valuable. But I'm up for any amout. Will just have to change my stratagy maybe.

Don't see it as much about making the great WRs less valuable as much as I see making the return guys more valuable - 6 of 1 half dozen of the other. At 20 yds per 1 pt, it won't make the top 10 or 15v WRs less valuable. But you'll see guys like harvin, Dez, Amendola a bit more valuable. Unless it gets to 10 yds per pt, you don't see guys like CJ Spiller or even Stephens-Howling getting picked in even the 10th round. Maybe guys like Jacoby Ford and Mike Goodson.

personally, i am not a huge fan of return yardage, and this will be my first season doing ppr and return, and we are already doing points per return in twiley's league, so if we have to make this return league, i want maybe 1 point per 30 yards.
i saw your 1 point per 10yards league, and that is insane, and am not up for that at all.

No, would never consider more than 1 pt per 20 return yards. It was a little nuts with 1 per 10. And that was before the regression to kickoffs from the 35 yd line. Guys like Sproles and Amendola were ahead of guys like Fitz, Austin, and Mendy - Harvin was off the charts. lol That's not the object here. Just wanna make borderline undraftable guys more draftable - the guys that do more on the field work too, like Jacoby Ford or Dez - not guys like Logan, Mariani, Stephens-Howling, all who were viable in a 1 for 10 in a pinch or bye week. 1 for 30 noted.
