10.) Packdog Thanks for still doing this, Jeffrey. I thought it was the 1st 6 teams (that's how many make the playoffs) are in order after playoffs, and the last 4 teams are how they finished after week 13. Might be the same in this instance, haven't checked.

Dang talk about me having bad luck in the playoffs. I out scored the champ Packdog in the final week by 50 points.

Deshawn Watson scored over forty points that week and Herbert on scored twenty. So I could have done even better.
So moral of the story is I'm putting Watson up for trade as a sixth round pick. He scored the forth most points for a QB last year in this league. I need a good RB. Looking at you Divebitch and Jeepers.
Or anyone else who wants a top four QB. Trust me he won't hold out.

Well I do have A-Rod in the 9th so don’t really need Watson but if I can get a good RB for him I’ll give you ekeler for him. Henry is already locked up in a trade with Beverly unless I’m mistaken

Henry is already locked up in a trade with Beverly unless I’m mistaken I kick myself for being honest, but it was just a tentative deal, not quite a handshake. They didn't tag Aaron Jones, so who knows where he'll land. Could be good or bad. He'd still be the lead back wherever he goes. I have Dak as a 5th, and guess I'll keep him, although not thrilled about it as a 5.3. But he was on par to be a top 3 QB. My keepers suck, but I can probably get a good deal for Kareem Hunt (12th but will turn into 6th or 7th - depending on possible new keeper rules). I thought Michael Thomas would be gold as a 2nd rounder, but if Brees retires, who knows.

I was thinking about putting it back to 7, 8, & 9th (like it was in CTM). Especially since, well as it stands, 1) there are only 3 keepers, and 2) those late round draft status doesn't carry over on a trade. IOW, that 12th round Kareen Hunt I trade will only be a 6th (or 7th) round for someone else, and who would still be a bargain. There's gotta be some kinda bonus for keeper strategy (or luck lol) or why bother?!?

Guess I better go read the constitution .

Mind you nothing at all is written in stone, but I feel, as Jeffrey did, that carrying on the late round tag forever on a star was just wrong.

We talked about this but didn't come to any real solution about the late round players when they need to be traded. No where did anyone say that the late round player would go to the FA/WW value when they have to be traded. What we did agree on was that if a player out performed his late round tag he would be adjusted at the time they are traded. Here's something that could be done so that the new owner still gets some value but not as much as the person who 1st drafted the player. Round 16 -3 rounds making it a 13th round pick Round 15 -3 rounds making it a 12th round pick Round 14 -3 rounds making it a 11th round pick Round 13 -3 rounds making it a 10th round pick Round 12 -3 rounds making it a 9th round pick Round 11 -2 rounds making it a 9th round pick The early round picks would not be adjusted.

That sounds good to me. Would you mind showing me, if possible, where the above in bold was written. Cuz IDK how I interpreted that to mean that the traded player went back to FA pickup status. I might have been confused about the 'adjusted' specifically. Yeah, Hunt 11th or 12th, just paid no attention cuz I knew he would no longer be that round now. I love your idea of just downgrading though, especially in light of keeping just 3.

It wasn't written anywhere yet you & Craig both thought example K.Hunt 11th round would go to a 7th round pick (FA/WW QB & RB value). Like I said we never really got into how we adjust a traded player who out performed his draft position. If & when we get enough people here we can have a discussion an then vote on what I've written of adjusting late round traded players.

It was ambiguous, but I just interpreted it the best I could and carried it forward, and dealt with the other stuff that had to be addressed. I will amend it now.
