Draft Summary
Blessed with a juicy draft position (No. 3 overall), Steel City Rocker had an exceptional performance. Steel City Rocker are predicted to finish 2nd in Big Cheesy XII with a record of 9-4 (2,886 points).
Christian Kirk
Biggest Steal
Steel City Rocker netted a late-round bargain in selecting Kirk with the 8th pick in the 16th round, about three rounds later than his ADP of 127. After a season in which he had 68 catches for 709 yards and 3 TDs in 13 games, totaling 172 fantasy points, Kirk is projected to score 204 fantasy points with the Cardinals. That makes him the No. 5 WR for this squad.
Jared Goff
Going out on a Limb
You may have been a bit overeager when deciding to select Goff at No. 103, about 23 picks earlier than his ADP of 126. Maybe you're onto something, though. Projected to score 263 fantasy points this season with the Rams, he seems set to improve on last year when he threw for 4,638 yards and 22 TDs with 16 INTs to earn 249 fantasy points. Based on projections, Goff will slot in as the No. 2 QB for Steel City Rocker to begin the season.
Draft Notes
Steel City Rocker face a tough task in Week 8 when they have four players on a bye (David Johnson, Diontae Johnson, Christian Kirk, and Marquise Brown). Your Week 8 opponent, NJC Breeze, won't be nearly as encumbered with only two players (Mark Andrews and Drew Lock) on the sideline.
With a second-half strength of schedule that rates as the 2nd-easiest based on projections, Steel City Rocker have one of the lightest schedules late in the season in Big Cheesy XII. Even so, for the season as a whole, Steel City Rocker should expect a fairly balanced path ranked as the 7th hardest.
With an average of 4.9 years of NFL experience, ranking in the middle of the pack for the league, Steel City Rocker are balancing both youth and experience. Some experience is preferred, though, as they didn't pick any of the 11 rookies drafted.
In spite of open slots at QB and WR in the 5th round, Steel City Rocker took RB David Johnson at No. 43, utilizing the multiple flex positions.
Wow 1st time in the last couple years my draft went smooth and didn't get kicked off once. Overall happy with how this team turned out.
