I don't recall if you said you were surprised that there either was or was not any reseeding in the playoffs. And please explain exactly what you mean by reseeding, like what should happen at what juncture? And what indeed happened or didn't happen as you expected? FWIW just checked (Neil's league as well), and the reseeding settings are set to 'yes'. I don't believe that is a setting I changed from the previous year.

Just the way the playoff bracket was set up. I assumed that after my quarter finals win I would be playing you not Scoregasms. But because there was reseeding, you played the lowest seed still alive. After every round, the games are determined starting with highest seed vs lowest seed, 2nd highest vs 2nd lowest, etc... just wasn't expecting that. Not like it mattered in the end as Scoregasms was on fire

Is there another way (duh, I guess)? Trying to guess what happens when you don't reseed the next round (??). Anyway, I thought your initial beef was that we don't reseed. And can't figure out why or what the implications would be of not reseeding that could be more fair. But thanks much for the reply.

was just surprised cuz I thought neither nfl.com or yahoo did that. If we didn't reseed then I would of beat you in the semis and played in the finals

Okay. So I was the #1 seed going into the playoffs. And I believe that someone at #1 or #2 after 13 weeks deserves the nod throughout the playoffs - not to have to play a 4th or 2nd (??) seed instead of a 6th. It is 1000% fair IMO. Thanks again for the explanation. Looking at it and the way it went in the league, I understand it now.

Actually, I looked at it again, and don't understand how it could/should be any different. Me & scorgasms were on a bye, while you (4) and Serenity (6) both won your games. So why should I (1) have to play you (4) while Scorgasms (2) gets to play (6)? There weren't even any divisions, not that that might even matter (?).
Just a bit baffled why you'd think it might work the way you described. Wouldn't you think that would be unfair? TBH, I've never seen the playoffs work any other way than they did. Except for adherence to conferences, the NFL works this way too.

In some other leagues the brackets are set up so that the #2 seed plays the winner of the 3rd/6th and the #1 seed plays the winner of the 4th/5th so I assumed I would be playing you since it was set up to look that way.
