Before you ask, yes i am picking on you guys, but you've shown your knowledge and love for the game out right, and i've came to respect you guys' (dive your a guy now too, atleast in the grouping lol) So i wanted to ask advice or what you would work on next for my team in my dynasty league. The system is 35 man roster, but the starting line-ups are 1qb 2rb 2wr 1TE 1 T/R/W 1 kicker, then 3 DT/DE 3LB 3DB and 1 IDP flex.
When i started out i picked the cardinals, where we essentially picked a team and got rolling with a roster of players of our choosing to add and make a 25 member minimum roster and we have to be at 50million for the roster by the start of the season, i was almost at the 75M cap, so i've been wheeling and dealing getting younger and cheaper
Ace, i did get alot more offers, and better offers for Fitz, but due to the cap issue i could take them, so i took the patriots offer of 2 firsts, a second and a 3rd with hernadez and Gaffney as part of the deal (just barely over 1M each compaired to fitz 5M alone.
We just started the draft phase, and wanted your ideas one what is your thoughts on a glaring weakness on my team and where you would go with the picks i got (this resembles the real draft, only the draft class is available, then the FA opens up and i can finish there.
In the next post i'll post my roster as to not cog the screen with one post... though i already have.

Knowshon will be one that i get asked about, i agreed to get him in one of my moves to get younger and cheaper, and fully believe that even if he gets cut by the broncos he will find a team this year and contribute, and to be honest i think depending on the team he can do better then he's done for the broncos the last few years.

They don't do dynos... I tried them let alone salary cap leagues
Also getting Hernandez, 2 1sts and a 2nd while freeing up 4m in cap space is a pretty good deal, although Fitz was on a pretty good contract if he was for 5m. Anyhow I do believe ur team should be rebuilding but the trade outcome can't be determined until you know where the 1st rounders are.

anyways... even for a 32 team league, don't think you can compete, AP should hit the trading block soon and there has to be better IDPs in FA with those small rosters

yeah, and so far its been offensive heavy for the picks, so the guy i wanted at 1:27 may not be there, but honestly i'm banking on hernandez out preforming gronk because of teams planning against him more then last year. Its the Chad johnson / Tj Housmenzadah deal (or wayne and harrison if you like) except they are tight ends and have decent players at WR too

When FA opens up, i'm going to try and sign Cedric Benson cheap, since he hasnt signed yet, and get him stashed away, he is a good back, with out a team, and i'm hoping that works to my advantage when injuries start happening, or FA v2.

Wilson have always been the 6th or 7th option in rook drafts.... nothing surprising about that draft so far

he'll produce at about what jacobs did this year, by next year though i think he takes over as feature back, just surprised, cause its 2 pts per tackle.... at that point if i didnt take WR i'd go D, especially cause Claiborne is still there (keuchly got taken by the dolphins)

2 points per tackle??? You might have to elaborate on ur IDP scoring still, honestly DTs and CBs are THE positions to avoid in IDPs. DTs cuz they naturally aren't pass rushers (few exceptions) and don't get very many tackles, CBs for one very important reason.
1st of all, let's look at the major ways a CB can produce. 1) CB in cover 2 scheme (The Winfields, Tillmans of the league, only dependable CBs out there to produce year in and year out) 2) Breakout season with INTs, sure that gets you a lot of points but teams gradually don't throw to the guy shutting down the opposing WRs, so he'll be a star but won't get thrown to (Revis' of the league) 3) The guy gets a lot of tackles therefore allowing tons of catches and yards and is a liability in coverage, keeps it up and will be replaced. 4) The guy that starts and returns kicks. Basically look at the 2nd reason, if they prove to be good, they will be taken off of return duties.
THE most inconsistent position to project. That's why in Dive's IDP I never owned a CB ever, always been a SS. With the scoring my league used for last year, only Charles Woodson appeared on the top 10 list for CBs for the past 3 years, if you want any IDP after Keulchy, it would be Barron, Wagner, Kendricks or David, although the 3 LBs can fall to the 2nd
