[glow=red,2,300]njc71’s Fantasy Football League[/glow]
Purpose
This League was founded to play Fantasy Football at a competitive level, but mostly to have FUN and lots of ACTION. Every Team Owner is a vital part of that process and is essential to the success of the league.
From the League Manager and Leage Co-Manager's Office:
"The rules set forth in our Constitution are designed to keep possession of this League in the hands of the owners. It is this League’s philosophy that the owners control this League. We only act as League Managers, League arbitrator and official record keeper. Should the need arise, We will act in the best interest of the League and not to one owner’s benefit.”
Code of Conduct
The code of conduct refers to the conduct of oneself pertaining to all aspects of the league.
Any behaviour deemed unacceptable and reported to the League Manager and/or Co-League Manager will be reviewed. Upon review by the LM's if the behaviour(s) are determined to be detrimental to the health and well being of the league, appropriate actions will be initiated. We are a diverse league geographically, racially and gender.
We do not wish to hinder the fun and good nature of the league, but self discretion is expected. Racial, gender specific, sexual harassment and other such demeaning comments will not be tolerated.
League Type
This league will be a Keeper league.
Keeper Rules
The keeper settings are as follows (open to discussion however):
1. Three keeper players that must be nominated 2 weeks prior to the draft date. They can only be changed after this date (but before the draft date still) in exceptional circumstances like if a player gets injured for the season in training or a pre-season match). You can't just change your mind once the nominated date has passed.
- Keepers may consist of any combination with a maximum of 1 QB, 2 RB's, 2 WR's or 1 TE
2. A drafted player may be kept one time allowing him to be on a team roster for two consecutive years before he must be released or traded.
3. A player traded in the off-season can be assigned the keeper tag up to 2 times allowing the new owner to have the player on their roster for 2 full seasons.
4. The team will lose a draft pick of the same round in which the kept player was selected.
5. If the team choose to keep multiple players from the same round of the draft they will lose consecutive picks starting with the round the players were drafted in. (i.e 2 drafted players in the 2'nd round and keep them you will lose your 2'nd and 3'rd/next available round picks in the next draft). This may come about if you have traded for a player who was originally drafted in the same round by someone else that you want to keep but you are already keeping your own player that you drafted from that same round.
6. Any player acquired during the season (after the draft has taken place), be it through Trade, FA, or WW may be kept once only.
7. No team is eligible to have the same keepers more than 1 time in 4 years. (i.e cannot trade a keeper and then trade back for that keeper within a 4 year period).
8. Players kept from a FA or Waiver Wire pickup are assigned the following values; QB/RB 5'th, WR 6'th, TE 7'th, others 10'th. If more than 1 is kept of QB/RB then 5'th and 6'th etc is lost. Same applies for WR's
General Activity Level requirements
1. Each league member will be expected to check up on the league at least one to two times per week. In the process, it is expected each member to be actively participating in talking to other people in the league, improving your team through trades, add/drops, and roster changes, preparing for your draft, scouting players, responding to polls, and making comments or suggestions to improve the league.
2. If a Team Manager is inactive for 2 or more consecutive weeks, the league has the right to find a suitable replacement (new member must be ratified by majority vote of current members). The option to replace must be agreed upon by both League Managers. All exceptions will be discussed and reviewed by all available members of the league.

Waiver Wire
Move to Last After Claim - sets the waiver priority based on the opposite of the draft order, but only changes waiver priority when a successful waiver claim is made.
When a player is placed on waivers and more than one owner claims him, the team with the higher waiver priority is awarded the player. As noted above, each time a successful waiver claim is completed, the team awarded that player is moved to the end of the Waiver Priority list for their next transaction.
If there are no claims on a player during the waiver period, the player becomes a free agent (i.e. can be picked up at any time). Note that if you drop a player and place him on waivers, you are unable add that player to your roster again until after the waiver period has expired.
Time player will stay on Waivers through the early morning of Wednesday (1 day waivers).
Free Agents
A free agent is a player who is not currently on a fantasy roster either because that player was not drafted, has not been added to a roster, or has been released by his previous owner and cleared waivers. You can add a free agent player at any time leading up to our league’s add/drop deadline before that week’s games.
Divisions
Our league will use 3 Divisions consisting of 4 teams each. The divisions will be determined by random order for year 1. A review will be held to determine if the divisions need re-shuffling for year 2.
