Sick, got a place now Anyways if you have any questions about the constitution, got any suggestions to improve it or don't like something in it. Just tell me and we can look into it as a league.
Constitution
1) League Government
2) League Setup
3) League Schedule
4) League Draft
5) League Trades
6) League Waivers
7) League Offseason
8) League Rosters
9) League Conduct
10) League Penalties
11) Tie breakers
12) Rule changes
1. League Government
League Commissioner: Ace
League Co-Commissioner: TBD
The League's Commissioner and Co-Commissioner will be in charge of processing trades, taking care of league disputes, handling day to day operations and website functionality. We try our very best to run things with transparency, order, and integrity. If you ever have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact one of our League Government Officials.
2. League Setup
The league time zone is set to Eastern Standard time (EST), account for all events accordingly.
Starting lineup- 10 starters
QB, RB, WR, TE, 4 RB/WR/TE, PK, Def
Roster limits- 32max (40 in offseason)/3 taxi squad/ 3 IR squad
Taxi squad- Players placed on the taxi squad will not count against the roster limit of 32 players during the league season. Only rookies may be placed on the taxi squad. At the end of the season rookies must be moved to the regular roster or be dropped.
IR squad- Players placed on the IR squad again will not count against the roster limit of 32 players during the league season. Only players officially placed on IR may be put on the IR squad. At the end of the season players on the IR squad must be moved to the regular roster or dropped.
Offseason roster expansion- During the offseason the official roster will be expanded to 40 players. This will be used to accommodate players placed on the taxi squad and IR squad making a comeback to your roster, gain players from the rookie draft and also to add the offseason sleeper you wanted. The rosters will go back to 32 players with taxi squad and IR squad the first week before the regular season. That will be the roster cut down date and failure to do so in time could mean loss of draft pick in future season.
Number of teams- 12 teams
Number of divisions- 4 divisions
Number of conferences- 1 conference
3. League Schedule
Regular season: 13 weeks
The schedule will be broken down as 4 divisional matchups (2 per team) and 9 intra-divisional matchups (1 per team)
Playoff teams: 6 teams (Best 2 division records gain a bye)
The playoffs will start in week 14 and the league championship will be in week 16.
4. League Draft
The draft will be conducted at our MFL page (TBD), and there will be 32 rounds in the inaugural draft. For each pick, you will be given 12 hours to select a player. This way, we will be able to continuously conduct the draft for weeks, rather than doing it on MFL for a couple hours. It is yet to be determined if rookies will be included in this pool.
If Team A does not make its pick twelve hours, Team A will be skipped and Team B will be on the clock for twelve hours. Team A will be able to make a selection for the skipped pick by sending a PM to the League Commissioner. The Commissioner will input the late selection at the first possible moment, but the draft will continue and if another team selects Team A’s player then Team A will need to make another selection. (Obviously, this should not happen as long as each GM lists a good contact number for text messages and/or e-mail addresss on team page)
We will have an interesting twist to our inaugural draft, the draft order randomizer will send you an email telling you where you will pick, 1-12. But you will then pick your draft position. The draft randomizer tool used can be found here:ht tp://ww w.fftoolbox.c om/draft_order_generator.cfm?id
Example: "Franchise 1" gets the 1.1 in the inaugural draft, then takes the 1.4 draft position. We then move on to the 1.2, who takes the 1.9 draft position, etc etc.

5. League Trades
As long as there are no collusion suspected or lopsided trades (ie. AP for Lynch) then the trade will be immediately processed by the league commissioner. If collusion is suspected or it is viewed as lopsided both owners in the trade will be contacted to explain why the trade took place. There will be no trading deadline in this league so trades can happen all year round.
6. League Waivers
The order for the waivers will be done by a continuously rolling list. (It won’t reset from week to week)The waivers will be processed Wednesday morning and after that all players left on waivers will be FAs and it will be FCFS. During the offseason, the waivers will be frozen until after the rookie/FA draft. After the draft there will be one more waivers session and after that it is FCFS for the offseason.
7. League Offseason
The day after the league championship games all rosters will be expanded to 40 players. Players on the IR squad or taxi squad must be moved to the regular roster. The rookie draft will be done shortly after the NFL draft is complete. Roster cut downs will begin one week before the regular season begins.
Key Dates:
JanuaryXX, 20XX- Rosters expanded to 40 spots and IR squad/taxi squad moved back to regular roster
MayXX, 20XX- Rookie/FA draft will be conducted (3 rounds)
AugustXX, 20XX- Roster cut downs to 32 players plus IR squad/taxi squad
8. League Rosters
The league’s owners are responsible for managing their own rosters and remembering to cut down their rosters during August. They are also responsible for trading well, pickup FAs and preparing for their rookie draft.
9. League Conduct
All Gms are required to take action in all Polls and Votes, and a once a day login to the forum is preferred. The League Commissioner and Co-Commissioner may remove any GM without notice for actions malicious, or detrimental to the league. No collusion of any sort will be tolerated.
Disclaimer: These bylaws may be edited by the league office at any time to correct misspellings, grammatical errors and/or provide better clarity of an existing bylaw. Edits that add to or provide clarity of an existing bylaw will be appropriately marked with the date edited.
10. League Penalties
League penalties are meant to help this league be a fun league not meant to hurt anyone. They can occur in several instances and will be outlined here.
Roster cut downs- Failure to cut down your roster by the deadline stated could result in loss of draft pick and/or random droppings of players by league commissioner.
Inactivity- Inactivity can be measured by not setting your line-ups, not partaking in mandatory polls/votes and not showing up for the league draft/rookie draft. Unless given a warning of inactivity (ex. Posting a message of not being on the site because of work/sick/vacation) can result in a penalty ranging from loss of draft pick to being kicked out of the league.
Tanking- Tanking will not be accepted in this league. Tanking is considered to be starting players on byes, declared out, on IR, backups or sitting players without a justifiable reason. (ex. starting Spiller in place of Rice) Any result of tanking would mean loss of your 1st round pick to being kicked out of the league.
11. League Tie-breakers
In the event that there is a tie between two teams, this will be used to break ties.
1) Head to head matchups
2) Divisional record
3) Points scored
4) Power rankings
5) Points scored against
6) Player who scored the most points (ie. Foster, Team A: 200 points vs Forte, Team B: 195 points. Team A would win this tiebreaker)
In case of a 3 or more way tie it would be:
1) Head to head record
2) Divisional record
3) Record against common opponents
4) The tiebreakers from 3-6 used in chronological order
12. Rule Changes
All rule changes will be made with a league vote of at least 67% (8 people). All major rule changes cannot be applied during the season and will take place during the offseason. Minor changes such as fixing the schedule so it would comply with the playoff schedule needs no votes and will be handled by the league commissioner. Owners are encouraged to make suggestions to better the experience of this league on the message boards.
