*League Waivers:
At any time, you are allowed to put one of your players on waivers. If you put Player A on waivers, he does not count towards your roster size (Minimum/Maximum restrictions), but his contract still counts against your salary cap and 'contract years' cap (which hurts your team), unless he is picked up by another team.
If he is picked up by another team, you cannot roster said player for the length of the original contract (this is to prevent two teams colluding on dropping a player, watching the price go down, and trading him back to that owner).
If no one picks up a player you placed in waivers, you may place a minimum bid on said player (50%M 1y. You may only re-bid on a current player one time per season (Super Bowl to Super Bowl) - if you get a player "back" at a lower price in April, you may not get another player "back" until February.
Waiver priority will be based on a weekly rolling list based on standings. If you gain a player through waivers you move to the bottom of the list for that week. Waiver priority will start the reverse of the 2011 draft order. If you pick up a player on waivers it will be for the original contract totals of that said player.
Send all your waiver claims to the League Commissioner he will check them on Thursday at 12:00pm noon and whoever has the highest waiver priority at that time wins said free agent and the League Commissioner will pm you letting you know he's yours.
A player claimed off of waivers will carry his current contract (the contract signed by the team dropping said player). A player will stay on waivers for 3 days. If no claims are put in the player then becomes a free agent and falls into the bidding process. Waiver order with start the season opposite the draft order. Last team drafting will have first right in waivers. After the first week it goes in reverse order of standings. last place team has first rights to waivers. Once a team places a bid on a player they fall to the bottom of the waiver order. If multiple claims are put in by one team, they will be awarded the first player they are attempting to claim (unless claimed by a higher priority team), then drop to the bottom of the list. If the other players have no waiver claims in place, then said team will claim all players.
All claims will be sent to the commissioner. If you have multiple claims, rank them in the order you want them. *League RFA:
Restricted free agent bidding will start the day after the Super Bowl of the 2011 season(A notice will be sent out via email and PM. RFA bidding will last until 1st day of training camp of the 2012 season. This is when the RFAs will be FAs.
Year's RFA:
This is where the players with expiring contracts will be listed. The topic will be the teams name. The text box will be the players from that team that are 1 year players. No auctions are created in this section. Also keep the players with expiring contracts on your roster page!
RFA Wire:
A player claimed off of waivers will carry his current contract (the contract signed by the team dropping said player). A player will stay on waivers for 3 days. If no claims are put in the player then becomes a free agent and falls into the bidding process. Waiver order with start the season opposite the draft order. All claims will be sent to the commissioner. If you have multiple claims, rank them in the order you want them. Bidding Process:
You can bid on any of the 0 year players from any team. After 24 hours after the higest bid that team with the highest bid will have the "rights" to that player. The team who had the player originally will get a chance to match that bid. If the originall team matches the bid then the orginall team gets that player. However if the original team does not match the bid then the highest bid gets the player. The original team has only 24 hours to match the bid. If the original team does not match the bid in 24 hours the player will go to the highest bidder. I will notify you when you need to match a bid.
*League Free Agents:
All players not under contract or RFA are free agents. You can open an aution for a FA by posting in the Appropriate sub-board of The Wire. Minimum bid is $1M to start the auction. After 24 hours has past since the highest bid, the player is awarded to the GM with the highest bid. You can then sign that player for up to 3 years.
