The settings here are the same as my league and slightly less in Dive's NFL Big Cheesy and the wealth of RB's in both of those league are spread around rather equally. It's not just up to you alone to make decisions about how many we can draft. You're right but what am I supposed to do when I ask for input and get little to no response from the rest of the members of this league. I'm not a mind reader and I'm not going to hound people to give their thoughts on what they'd like to have. Maybe I jumped the gun somewhat by posting the 6 RB limit for next year. Now that I've had some time to think about it one way would be to change 1 of the flex spots to WR/TE that way there would only be 3 RB slots max instead of 4 as it is now. Now if that was the case there maybe no need to have a limit on the RB's. I am open to hear all suggestions but if no suggestions are made then I will have to set it up as best & as fair as I can. Well, we already have a couple suggestions, mine at 7 RB, Packdog at 8. And we can discuss your idea about the WR/TE flex cutting the starting RBs down to 3, which would work given the settings. All this stuff can be discussed during the season and beyond, it ain't gonna get done in a week. But you just came out and announced w/no warning that the limit was 6 for next year, with no request for any input. I know you are and always have been totally fair, and now perhaps acted feeling the pressure of one disgruntled member. But we will work this out one way or another.

I just been sitting back reading this thread. I love the fact that Bob and Mike are active here. I appreciate that Something we been missing for quite some time. Not calling no names but like Jeffrey said,,,little to no input from some people. With that said....RB's are always gonna be a commodity in ANY league. They always have been. There are the one position that gets hurt the most. Have the biggest turnover rate. (not fumbles). In 30 plus years of FF runningbacks are always hard to come by. With that said...Am i gonna cut off my nose despite my face and draft 9 runningbacks? NO. Thats just me. It will shake out.
I for one, arent going to take chances every week and not carry a kicker or defense in my lineup because I want 9 runningbacks.
Jeffrey you're right....the settings dictated this happening, and we have seen it slowly manifesting over the last few years. When you can start 4 runningbacks and get a half point for a rushing attempt and we all know that IS a commodity then yes these things will happen. Its a case of unintended consequences. A settings change would solve some of this but the run on runningbacks would not change THAT much. But I will say this.... When you can start dictating HOW people draft...then you lose alot of folk. Thats FF socialism. But I do understand both sides. Im not one to bellyache about any of it though because quite honestly....IT AINT THAT SERIOUS.

I'm reading and thinking. Seems like we have a few suggestions already.
