The reason I ask is that www.4kingpoker.com/ is starting up a "Home Game" league on P-Stars. Joining 4K is free, like all forums, and the games are accessible through the PS.net client to accomodate the Yanks. It's play money, but apparently there will be prizes for winners awarded by 4Kings. 'Home Games' looks like an interesting solution to the current US predicament. Relatively small memberships depending on which groups you join and less chance of jackasses going all-in every hand and messing up the game. So far 4K is running some warm-up freerolls to test the software on Sat & Sun. I missed this weekend, but I'm gonna try to make next weekend and report back. Initially you'd need 10 quality posts over there to join the HG league, but Bob opened the membership up to get things rolling so if you're not already a member, join up and PM scrawnybob. Woo-hoo! Poker!

Looking at the schedule, the Sat & Sun warm-up games are at 3pm and are hold-em. Then a HORSE the following Sunday with a $600 prize pool. Not sure what to make of that since there were 5 players and a $500 pool before I regged, and now it's 6 players and $600. Bob was talking about Amazon gift-cards for the winners.
Still, it's not so much the money, but the opportunity to play actual poker without so many idiots donking through the game. There are currently just 47 members in the 4K club, so the games should be nice and quick unlike the 7500-player marathons that we get knocked out of right before the bubble!. The one warm-up that I missed ran just over two hours.
Plus, you get to have your ass spanked by ME…!

I played for about six months on oddsmaker, and one other. Can't remember which. I played a lot of freerolls to get the hang of it. I did pretty good and decided to play a pay one. I played a $25.oo one. Won the first time. $800 and some dollars. Never won again after about ten more tries. It was fun. Might join you guys sometime.

Getting spanked by you would be reason enough to join. Who is Bob? Is he like the 'Nick' at Cardschat? What's this about Poker Stars? I can't get on there. Do you see any light at the end of the tunnel? I got over $800 at Full Tilt, and they are not exactly proactive as how to get your money out.

scrawnybob runs the 4Kings forum. To get in on the Home Games you need to go to PokerStars.net and download the .net client. Any play chips you had will still be there, but for some reason there's no cashier to check your balance. Guessing someone found a way to game the system so they just got rid of it for us poor Yanks.

Don't think I had many play chips, but I had not only over $100 in there, but 18 of those $2k tournament tokens. Never liked the Saturday ones, cuz they are all NLHE, but the Sunday ones they'd mix it up. But I never wanted to play when football was on.

I mean they never expired. Sick to think how many I accumulated. Now will never get them back. And probably can't cash out there either no matter what political party, cuz I never deposited there. And not about to obviously!!!

Are they gone or something? I still get emails from Oddsmaker all the time. Do you play there?

Never heard of Oddsmaker. I usually stick with the big names, like Stars, Tilt, Carbon (Merge Network) Ultimatebet (crook network) and B(l)odog. I can still play at Carbon, should probably try to get my $300 out of there before it's too late.
Craig, Bodog is an excellent gambling site, horses, casino, all sports, and crazy stuff you can bet on.

I only do horses on TVG and Express Bet sites. They are horses only and local (America) I don't trust those foriegn sites to much. Oddsmaker did send me my money the one time I cashed out.
The horse ones I use I trust because they have sent me money a lot.
I've played the casino games a few times, it was fun but not profitable. I like craps a lot but man you have to have a huge bankroll to play it right.
I'm not to into throwing money away on games of chance. That's why I like the ponys. I can study and do better than the average guesser.

OK, they run the HG's in series. No idea how long a series lasts, but, Amazon.com gift cards for 1-5 in the one I played Sunday. $20 for 1st, $10 for 2 & 3, and $5 for 4 & 5. 1st-3rd also score gold, silver and bronze medals and points like other leagues. It was fun. Of course, I came in 3rd... If I came 6th, it would have sucked!

There were 24 in that one, paid 5. Pretty damn good odds. This Sunday's game is a NLHE set for 3p CT. 12 entrants so far.

Did you ever sign up for CC's freeroll club? Tonight is at Carbon. Starts at 8 EST. This is the tourney I was in when I accepted some bad FF trade I think. lol But I swear, I must suck worse and worse being I don't play much anymore, especially that NLHE.
