I know I ain't been around much lately been doing some things around the house and spending some time with my grandkids. The one medicine I take (gabapentin) makes me tired and drowsy sometimes plus I been dealing with some cold issues watery eyes, runny nose and sneezing my ass off feeling much better now.

We had all 3 grandkids over last night wow little fighting between our 2 youngest but we got that straightened out.
Little man (what we call Nate, the 2nd oldest)had me cracking up. I use the cushions off the couch to make a bed for him in my wife's bedroom. Around 8 pm he tells my wife it's time to go to bed and she says I ain't going until 9 o'clock, he then says Gigi (what they call my wife)go open the door & look outside it's so dark you can't see, it's time to go to bed. Within 10 or 15 minutes he was out.

The didn't really know until they got in there. It went well so we shall see if I improve, which I should. What's up with everything, you and Broday as well?!? How did they get from Grandma (or Linda) to Gigi?

Brody is still in Utah. Just talked to my sister. He has been pushing it and the staff finally got it thru his head that any miss twist or something could be catastrophic. So he promise to be more careful. The staff said they have never seen anyone with this injury improve this fast and that place is world renown for this kind of injury. I'm doing pretty good. My week rest from three stint instillation is over and I'm looking forward to testing my ability to do exercise and breath well. Sister just sent me video of him. Made me and Mar cry. He's so scared and not able to move his right arm without help but he can hold and drop a marble with his thumb and finger.

Or is it just his right arm that can't move? Hope that's it. Or he could be there for awhile. Tough for everyone. And as for you, my pretty, have they been testing your ability slowly but surely? Or maybe more post-surgery tests to determine if you're really ready. Hope it's soon! I know it's a bummer to not be confident in your breathing without an inhaler. Must be (or was) even scarier for you. So don't make me ask, always want updates.

His right leg and arm are slow at getting life. He is improving from being unconsious and completely paralized in only two weeks.
I vary rarely use an inhaler. I just get out of breath doing simple things. I think that is going to be a lot better. My left shoulder hurt all the time and my ankles swelled up all the time. No more. The flow to my heart is much better.

Yeah, I guess an inhaler would not have helped you much. My problem was pulmonary (lungs). Yours is cardiac.

Yes left side better than right. So sad. It's going to be a long rehab but hopefully he will walk again.

I'll tell ya, the older I get, the quicker I cringe at some of the stuff I used to do. Looking back, it was by the grace of God, if there is one, that I was spared many atrocities. Things happen so fast, and even the totally unforeseeable can change your life (or take it) in an instant. Why did you and Steelers 1954 pick trolls for avatars. I confuse them. Much like he and Eddie over at CTM with the avatars there.

That is absolutely amazing!! He's exceeded all expectations, and that's gotta mean his rate of progression will only get better. YAY!!!! He's gotta be thrilled to be home.

We have had a great winter as far as rain and snow in the mountains. The climate is changing. It reminds me of most of my life here back six or seven years ago. The fields and hills are all green and full of flowers. Our drout is over. Which brings me to my reason for this post. The sun is warm yesterday and today. About 75 degrees. We have a Bazillion painted lady butterflys flying around, I mean Bazillions, its beautiful. We sat outside and watched them fly by for an hour.

I've seen a ton of Dragonfly, at least in Florida. Is that normal?

So what's new in your life? Had to find out from Fleet that you're still feeling weak, and have another procedure coming up shortly?!? Did the last one not take as well as hoped?
Any updates on your SIL Craig?

My doctor that put in the stents says I may need one more. I go on the eleventh of this month to get a test. They look at it kind of like a sonogram. My ankles and feet swell up a lot. I'm trying to talk to the Dr. today about that. No luck getting a hold of him yet. It might be the meds causing that. Ya I'm weak and probably will be for life. UGh. At least I'm alive and can play fantasy football.

Anyone else getting concerned that Steeler hasn't been here in a month? If he doesn't show up soon I will call him.

Anyone else getting concerned that Steeler hasn't been here in a month? If he doesn't show up soon I will call him. Definitely concerned, not like him. Life has been crazy lately, and didn't realize it was that long. You or me, call him soon, don't think we should wait more than a week.
