Who's winning the fantasy nascar league?
Ohh thats right ....I am....lmao.
I'm in a keeper auction league that none of you are in. We keep three. Its 1 ppr with no return yards to IOP. We get $213 for draft and subtract out keepers price before the start. I'm keeping DMC at 7. (I also have Ray Rice at 60). I'm think I'm keeping Rivers at 20 but I also have Antonio Brown at 16 and Welker at 25. So who would you keep out of those three?
Oh wait we also get two point bonus for recieving TD over 40 yds and we get six points if my guy returns a kick for a TD. So there is return potential.

DMC, Welker and Rice for me... 3 solid starters and you still have $111 to spend, although I think Rice is market value at 60 or near to it

Thanks Ace. You would go the expensive route. I'm debating. 60 is a lot but I'm sure he would cost that much to get back.

I set the draft time to wednesday, aug 29th at 3pm eastern time. We just have to settle a time, and some guys might not make it no matter what time we choose. So lets make the best of it. The alternatives would be some time next week, could push it back to next monday or tuesday also if that's of interest

Jancey:
Auction league is pretty much the same as a standard league, when it comes to rules and scoring. The biggest difference is that drafting and WW pickups are done by budget.
Prior to the draft, each manager gets the similar amount of money (virtual of course), usually $200. At everyone can nominate a player to bid on, one of the time. For a pre-set time, you can bid on a player, as much as you want, and when the time has expired, the manager with the highest bid gets said player.
You have a full team when you're either out of cash, or you have filled your roster.
When the draft is over, everyone gets a WW budget, I think we had $100 this year. These money can be spent on players on the WW. If you want a player from the WW, you can place a bid on him. This bid can't be seen by the rest of the league, so everyone is in a blind auction. If you have the highest offer for the player when the waiver period expires every week, you get the guy. Free Agents are free to pick up.
There are a ton of different settings for auction leagues, and if we can get this together early, we can all put together a great league early on. Last year it was a scramble to get the right people into the league, so I just put together something quick.
If this made any sense to you, then great! This is pretty much the basic difference between an auction league and a standard league. I will try to make it a slightly different league, and if NFL.com allows it this year, I would like to get punters and HC's included. We had that setting on ESPN, and it was quite interesting.

I'm in. Lacy is going down. *strutting in with my Lombardi trophy slung over my shoulder* I have no intention of giving this prize up, Monkey Man. Unless, of course, you are somehow able to pry it out of my cold, dead hands. ;D Plus, I'm wise to you now--and won't fall for that Steve Smith-STL nomination ploy again next year. ----- Jersdal--- Despite the fact that I somehow came out on top at the end of the year (YOU can blame your fall from #1 the last few weeks on my beloved Packers and A-Rod ), the entire season was a lot of fun and I thoroughly enjoyed participating in your league. Thanks again for inviting me.

I forgot about that misslacy. Yes Ace I nominated Steve Smith STL. And Lacy jumped all over it. I must admit she was very polite and nice about it. But I bet she was steaming. So she went on to trounce Larry's butt. I would have done the AP one but the other AP wasn't on the list. (sent by Craig since Larry isn't allowed here) Larryb.
p.s. She obviously hasn't forgotten about it either. Larry is a little scared of her now.
